The Brief
The Belt and Road Initiative is a massive development strategy implemented by China’s leader Xi Jinping which aims to economically connect the country with 60 Central and Eastern European countries. When the Hong Kong Trade and Development Council approached us with the concept, the Initiative was in its infancy stage. Our video would be the first one to ever address the plan.
The Result
In making a video about a complex new subject that needed to be quickly understood by a wide range of people, we decided to have a simple approach. The short video called for a variety of animated sequences and the highlighting of key points. Today, the concepts behind our video can be easily understood by everyone from Xianjin to Uzbekistan…and beyond.
