Activity Chair- Square Street
The Brief
Herman Miller is recognized as leader in design in Office furniture. After they launched an “activity” chair designed for budget conscious members of the arts and design community, they approached us to film a video in Hong Kong, as part of a global series that they had commissioned. The concept was to find a Hong Kong designer and showcase them in a personality profile where the chair appears but isn’t a star.
The Result
The people who enjoy Herman Miller furniture tend to be innovative, forward thinking and go-getters. They’re embodiments of the brand. In our case, we put the spotlight on Alexis, a Swedish designer, who has his own centrally located Hong Kong shop called Star Street. Alexis informed us about his life and philosophy of design. While the activity chair can be seen, it’s not a hard sell. This video profile can be enjoyed on it’s own – exactly what Herman Miller wanted.
